2026 Partnership Opportunities

Partnership opportunities that support The WaterFront Center’s mission while creating meaningful value for your business, organization, or foundation.

Why Partner with The WaterFront Center

Partnering with The WaterFront Center connects your company to a trusted, mission-driven organization with deep roots in the local community.

Sponsorship provides year-round visibility, meaningful employee engagement opportunities, and authentic alignment with education, environmental stewardship, and access to the water.

  • Strengthened employee morale through hands-on, purpose-driven experiences
  • Positive brand association with community impact and environmental responsibility
  • Increased goodwill with families, donors, and local stakeholders
  • Opportunities to engage employees, clients, and partners outside the office
  • Recognition across digital platforms, events, and print communications throughout the year

Your support helps sustain vital programs while reinforcing your company’s values, culture, and commitment to the community.

Engagement Experiences

As part of our corporate partnerships, select sponsors are invited to participate in immersive experiences that deepen connection to The WaterFront Center’s mission and the Long Island Sound. Experiences are seasonally dependent and scheduled collaboratively.

  • Horseshoe Crab Conservation Experience (May–June) — Join our Education Director, Cameron Jenness, for an unforgettable evening during horseshoe crab mating season. Your team will learn about the wildlife in the Long Island Sound at The WaterFront Center’s facility. Later in the evening, we will supply your team with headlamps, clipboards, and calipers to collect data on the horseshoe crabs. This data collection is critical for preservation of this amazing species.
  • Dockhand for a Day — Sand, scrape, and paint like a dockhand. There’s nothing like yard work after typing at your desk all day. Join our salty, seasoned crew as they prepare our boats for the season ahead. Learn about the hard work it takes to keep a historic, all-wood vessel afloat each year.
  • Kayak + Beach Cleanup — Clean the beach and learn about wildlife while kayaking. Spend a day enjoying the water while doing service. Your team will participate in a cleanup at Beekman Beach followed by a tour of West Harbor.
  • Team Building: Sonar Sailing — A collaborative sailing experience aboard a Sonar keelboat, focused on communication, leadership, and teamwork on the water.
  • Historic Vessel Private Charter — Enjoy a cruise on one of our two historic vessels. Experience the beauty of Oyster Bay with a breathtaking sail on either the CHRISTEEN or IDA MAY. This is the perfect opportunity for a team mixer, industry mixer, or client meeting.

Experiences are scheduled collaboratively and reflect availability, group size, and program needs.

Signature Recognition

Annual Benefit Party
Our signature celebration brings together supporters, partners, and community leaders to celebrate The WaterFront Center’s mission, programs, and impact. Hosted annually, the evening highlights our work across marine education, environmental stewardship, and access to the water.

Partnership includes Partner Recognition: company name or logo displayed on event signage and select promotional materials, recognition on event webpages, social media, blogs, and press releases, and inclusion on invitations and save-the-dates for select partnership levels.

2026 Partnership Levels

Partnership opportunities for businesses, organizations, and foundations, with benefits that scale by level.

Recognition in The Estuary Echo Journal

The Estuary Echo Journal highlights the people, stories, and community that support The WaterFront Center. For supporters who are not participating at a partnership level, journal recognition offers a meaningful way to be included through feature placements and signature recognition within the publication.

Supporters may also include a family photo, message, or dedication within their recognition.

Publication deadlines and artwork specifications will be shared with supporters after their commitment.
