Marine Explorers School Break Programs
The WaterFront Center offers special Marine Explorers programs during winter and spring school breaks, giving children the opportunity to enjoy hands-on science, outdoor exploration, and waterfront discovery while school is out.
Designed for students in grades 1–3 and 4–6, each program features engaging themes that introduce participants to the marine ecosystems of Oyster Bay. Using our indoor and outdoor classrooms, children investigate local habitats, discover the wildlife that lives there, and participate in interactive science activities.
Depending on the weather and daily program theme, participants may explore locations such as:
Beekman Beach
Mill Creek Inlet
West Harbor
Our school break programs combine education and adventure while encouraging curiosity, teamwork, and a deeper connection to the natural world.
