Benefit Regatta Recap

This September, The WaterFront Center hosted their 2023 Benefit Regatta at The WaterFront Center with an awards celebration at Cooper Bluff.

It was a great night for sailing with beautiful weather and full wind. Nine sonars lined up to race in our fun one-design regatta, adding silly elements like sailing backward and 360s'. At the same time, CHRISTEEN and her passengers were treated to a great match and a beautiful sunset! The party continued at Cooper Bluff to thank our guests, enjoy a great meal, fun music, and hand out awards.

Thank you to all of our sponsors and those who attended to help make this night so successful. Because of our community, we can continue to fulfill our mission to provide access to the waters of Oyster Bay Harbor and Long Island Sound through our educational, recreational, and instructional programs.

Winners & Awards

1st Place - Murphys/Simkins

2nd Place - Solo Sailor Team
