Annual Benefit Regatta Round-Up!

Not Much Better In Life Than Sailboats & Sunsets!

Monday, September 19th; 3:00pm - 8:00pm

What a successful night for our Annual Benefit Regatta! Our entire sonar fleet was out there racing as CHRISTEEN passengers looked on in excitement. It was a beautiful windy day for sailing! Our Sailing Direction, John Brendel, surprised our sailors with spinnakers on the sonars, which made for exciting sailing. They got off 4 races before the storm came and added a little more excitement to the night. Luckily the storm was short and broke the heat we had all week! We all reconvened on dry land at Coopers Bluff for our buffet dinner, open bar, awards, and auctions!

Sail For A Good Cause

Proceeds raised from this event support The WaterFront Center in its endeavor to connect people to the water through education and recreation. We accomplish this mission by providing affordable and accessible marine education programs, recreational and instructional sailing programs, paddleboard, kayak, and sailboat rentals, and through harbor tours aboard the National Historic Landmark, Oyster Sloop CHRISTEEN.

Thank You To Our Benefit Regatta Sponsors!
