Annual Benefit Online Auction

This year, our Annual Benefit Online Auction is online and we’re excited to extend an invite to you to participate. Check out the details below for more information on what you can bid on! 

Next Thursday, June 9th Join us at Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm for an early evening of fun. Enjoy live music from Gypsy, a Fleetwood Mac cover band, enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, and, enjoy the sunset over beautiful Oyster Bay Harbor while supporting a great cause! The Online Auction will continue in tandem with our Annual Benefit and will close at 8:15 pm that night.

The WaterFront Center’s mission is to connect people to the water through education and recreation by utilizing Beekman Beach, West Harbor, and the surrounding Oyster Bay ecosystems as outdoor classrooms. Because of your support, we are able to offer a diverse selection of programs and activities sailing, STEM education, and on-water fun to over 20,000 people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities every year.

  • Not Attending?  You don't need to be there to participate in our Annual Benefit Online Auction - Click here to join the fun!

    • Once the page loads, underneath the event description, you will see the "Bidding" tab, click.

    • After, in the heading of the bidding section, you will see "Want to bid, buy or donate to support this event? Click here to get started." Click there.

    • You will get a pop-up "Ready to bid, buy and donate? Enter your email address. If you're already registered for this event, we will email you a confirmation link. Otherwise, we'll have you quickly create an account." Enter your email and other information, and then it will log you into the Live Online Auction Portal

He will return with a garden design for your space of up to 1000 square feet with suggestions on how to implement the plan.

On that night, September 21, 2008, one of the all-time visual moments in Yankees' history was captured in a photograph. Help children of all ages and abilities fall in love with the sport of sailing and marine science. Each donation is a scholarship that subsidizes program fees for Youth Summer Programs at The WaterFront Center on a need basis for underprivileged families.

Sponsor an Accessible Sailing Participant

Each donation pays for a sailor to participate in our ZigZag: Adaptive Sailing program. Designed for children, adolescents, and adults with physical, sensory, intellectual, and/or mental health disabilities, this free program ensure that sailing is a sport everyone can enjoy.

Sponsor Boats, Motors, and Safety Gear

Your support will provide funds to maintain our high standards of equipment and safety. This will allow us to continue to concentrate on our quality programming, and ability to deliver marine education, recreation, instructional programs, and rentals, providing access to all.

Each donation pays for a sailor to participate in our Veterans On Water (V.O.W.) program. Combining the challenge of seamanship with the serenity of being on the water, this free program is offered as a therapeutic outlet for our community of veterans.

The WaterFront Center

The WaterFront Center (WFC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Oyster Bay, New York. We provide access to the waters of Oyster Bay Harbor and Long Island Sound through our marine education programs, recreational and instructional sailing programs, paddleboard, kayak and sailboat rentals, and through harbor tours aboard our National Historic Landmark oyster sloop CHRISTEEN.
