Explore & Celebrate The History and nature Of Oyster Bay Harbor. Fall brings about a beautiful time of change within our environment! Join The WaterFront Center and Friends of the Bay for a kayaking tour of Mill Neck Creek, where you’ll discover the area's history and ecology that make it unique!
Fall Youth Programs
Fall is the perfect time for sailors of all ages and skill levels to learn and improve their capabilities. Younger children can continue or start their summer journey with Opti sailing for all skill levels. We also offer a High School Sailing Team for teenagers to sail in C420s to develop their teamwork, critical thinking, and technical sailing skills. Give your child the opportunity to meet new friends, learn to sail, & gain confidence on the water with The WaterFront Center.

2023 Summer Kayak Conservation Cruise!
Our first Kayak Conservation Cruise in partner with Friends of the Bay went off without a hitch! Saturday morning was a beautiful day for a paddle. It was a great tour on the water. This tour shows off the beauty of Oyster Bay Harbor and sheds light on the significance of the rich history and wildlife important to its ecology.

The WaterFront Center Invites You To Witness Historic Oyster Dredge IDA MAY Return to Oyster Bay
Oyster Bay, NY: Wednesday, May 3rd at 10 am in Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park Boat Ramps, join The WaterFront Center, IDA MAY Project, and our maritime community to celebrate and witness the launching of the Oyster Dredge IDA MAY. This historic vessel was the first powered oyster dredge built and operated by Frank M. Flowers Oyster Company from 1925 until 2003.

Oyster Bay Harbor is at the heart of all our Junior Summer Programs, which include beginner sailing lessons, races, marine science explorations, scavenger hunts, and environmental stewardship.
