Details:

  • Ceremonial ribbon cutting to mark 25 years of connecting people to Oyster Bay Harbor.

  • Remarks from WFC leadership, local officials, and community partners.

  • Light refreshments featuring local oysters and clams, thanks to our friends at Schultzy's Restaurant

  • Meet & Greet with staff and volunteers to learn about our programs.

  • Free and open to the public; no registration required.

  • Stay for our Friends & Alumni Regatta at 5:00pm for our BBQ (Register Here for $25)

CHRISTEEN Sails

The CHRISTEEN, a 60-foot National Historic Landmark oyster sloop built in 1883, offers 2-hour harbor tours, sunset cruises, and marine ecology sails around Oyster Bay Harbor and Long Island Sound. Passengers can enjoy scenic views, learn about the harbor’s history (including its significance in the early 1990s), and participate in raising the sails.

Harbor Tours: $45 per person (Sat, Sun 11 am, 2 pm, Mon 11 am)

Sunset Cruises: $55 per person (Sat, Sun 6 pm)

Restrictions:

  • No children under 3 years old.

  • All children must be accompanied by an adult over 18.

  • No animals allowed onboard.

  • A maximum of eight spots per customer for public tours.
