Sonar
This sleek 23' one-design racing boat is used in our adult sailing programs. It sports a fin keel and a cockpit large enough for 5 adults. This comfortable yet easy to sail boat is perfect for a day sail around West Harbor and even beyond.

- The WaterFront Center is open to the public from Spring through Fall 7 days a week.
- Memorial Day through Labor Day we are open to the public Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Renters must be 18 years of age or have a parent's signature.
- Children must be at least 5 years old to be on one of our boats.
- A current drivers license is required for identification.
- Qualified and experienced sailors only - no experience required for kayak rentals.
- Two (2) hour minimal rental or charter time required for all sailboats.
- Check out sail required for first-time renters on each boat: 1-hour/$15 Sunfish, Pixel, Rhodes and Sonar; 2-hours/$50 for J105, Islander and Mariner.
Islander 30: Sleepy Head
Comfortable sailing for up to six (6) people, the 31' sloop is equipped with a diesel auxiliary engine and roller furling jib. The inside is surprisingly spacious and can sleep up to five adults and include a galley, ice box, and stove and a large fresh water holding tank. Set sail to points outside Cold Spring Harbor and Oyster Bay and create an adventure to share with you and your friends! Accommodations can be made on your own or through the WaterFront Center to pick up a mooring in Northport or other neighboring harbors. This boat is roomy comfortable and fun.

Mariner 36: Ambiance
Comfortable sailing for up to six (6) people, the 36' sloop is equipped with a diesel auxiliary engine and roller furling jib. The inside is nicely finished with a full galley and table with seating for up to six (6) people. The comfortable interior and ample deck space is ideal for families with children and adults looking to create their own weekend get-away from the noise and crowds of the city. Accommodations can be made on your own or through the WaterFront Center to pick up a mooring in Northport or other neighboring harbors.

J/105: Andiamo
The concept behind the J/105 was to produce boats that are fast, strong, fun and easy to sail while racing in One Design fleets or cruising with sails furled and swim ladder swung off the transom. The large cockpit of the J/105 makes it extremely comfortable and the simplicity of the layout makes it manageable for two or three experienced sailors to take the boat on their own in most conditions. Andiamo comes equipped with an auxiliary diesel engine and a fresh water holding tank. The J/105 is the most successful one-design keelboat class over 30' in the USA and most specifically on the east coast. With a large and active local fleet (Fleet 6: www.j105.org/fleet6) there is never a shortage of races to attend.

Christeen
For a unique celebration in a magnificent setting, charter Christeen for a private sail with family, friends, or co-workers. Perfect for special anniversary or birthday celebrations, or simply a great get-together! Christeen, a 40-foot gaff rigged sloop, is the oldest oyster sloop in America and a National Historic Landmark. She was originally built in 1883 for Captain William Smith in Glenwood Landing, New York for the purpose of harvesting oysters in Oyster Bay and Cold Spring Harbor. Over her 125 years, Christeen served not only as an oyster dredge but also as a cargo carrier and live-aboard between Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. Experience beautiful Oyster Bay from the deck of this historic vessel as you lend a hand to the crew or sit back and enjoy the scenery. Pack a simple picnic or have your event catered.
